When Women Gather Magic Happens

When Women Gather Magic Happens

I recently had a life altering experience that resulted from ten women coming together for an IFS retreat. Reflecting on the weekend, I was reminded of this quote by Phylicia Rashad,
Any time women come together with a collective intention, it’s a powerful thing. Whether it’s sitting down making a quilt, in a kitchen preparing a meal, in a club reading the same book, or around the table playing cards, or planning a birthday party, when women come together with a collective intention, magic happens.”
Phylicia Rashad’s quote beautifully captures the essence of women coming together. When women unite with a shared purpose, they create a powerful force that transcends individual boundaries.

The Power of Unconditional Love and Collective Strength

During our time together, we went from being tentative in our sharing to stepping into the brave space created to be authentic and vulnerable. I can speak for myself to say that due to the unconditional love, tenderness, and collective strength and compassion, I was able to touch something very deeply hidden inside. The space was held for me to speak my truth. I got angry, cried, cussed, held space, laughed, listened, and vulnerably shared my heartache. Because, as I’ve heard said before, “No one knows the pain of a woman except another woman.”
This entire experience has shifted me and amplified my passion in connecting more deeply with the wild & wonderful women in my business and Life! And I am even more excited than ever before about the upcoming retreat in September.
Why are these types of Circles, connections, and gatherings so beneficial, healing, and magical? Well, first of all, women rock! Then there is the whole shared energy and collective intention. Which, I have heard Denise Linn state that results are going to be realized whenever there is ceremony and intention.
There is also support and empowerment that comes with a sisterhood that provides encouragement. Women uplifting each other, grieving together, celebrating victories, and navigating the challenges of Life together. Also, when a brave space is created women are able to be vulnerable and authenticity thrives.

This is where women find their voices and realize their strength

I’m grateful to the ten women and especially to Michéle Quesenberry, our courageous, creative, empowered, and wild leader! We cooked together, shared space, walked through mud puddles, stood in the rain, howled under the trees, bared our souls, released our burdens, and held hands through it.
Magic lies in the shared experiences and stories — weaving threads of tears, resilience, and sisterhood.
And with that, I’ll leave you with a song by Shylah Ray Sunshine that sums up this journey we’re on! It’s entitled, Into the Wild.
If you have a song that you feel deep inside your bones, I’d love for you to share it with me. Next month, I’ll share what I’ve gathered so that we may all benefit by the offers and generosity.
